My family and I visited this restaurant for the first time at Henley Beach. There were 7 of us in our party. Unfortunately, when our order was placed, only 3 drinks arrived and we had to ask for the remaining drinks. After a long wait, our meals finally arrived, but one meal was completely missed. The rushed meal tasted like it had been reheated in the microwave, especially the chips. No apology was given. As gold members of Primo's, we frequently eat at our local location (not here), where the experience is much better. I would not recommend this specific restaurant and we will not be returning.

This was our first visit to Cafe Primo on the Esplanade in Henley Beach and we were pleasantly surprised by the quality of the menu, the food, and the prices. The cafe is located in a charming old heritage building right by the sea, offering both indoor seating and balcony seating with beautiful views of the ocean. We truly enjoyed our experience at Cafe Primo, including the lovely setting and the great value for the delicious food. The service was also excellent.

My husband and I came in for a late dinner and were welcomed warmly by a lovely waitress. We ordered a pizza and the pork medallions, both of which were reasonably priced, but neither stood out as anything special. The main problem was with the pizza - the base appeared to be just a pita bread, which is not really appropriate for a restaurant... We are unsure if we will return in the near future.

Right on the foreshore this café serves large meals so be prepared! I found that I struggled to get through the meal even though it was delicious but then again, I have a small appetite. (I will know for next time) The food was great as was the service but with wooden floors, I found it a little noisy..
