3/23/2019 This is a follow up to a review from last year. Calabria Mia continues to have much going for it. Food all around is good to very good on occasion. The formerly unbeatable specials have been dispensed with, apparently. The pizza is decent, if unremarkable... crust is on the thick side. They make a very cheesy pie here, with not much sauce flavor. Great location on Main St. very convenient for a quick or leisurely lunch. The interior is small but nice, and clean. It 's a bit odd because it 's an Italian place, but none of the workers are Italian. Excellent food! Fair prices, polite staff and the thin crust pizza was crispy delicious. The lunch specials on the weekdays also come with a fresh pile of french fries a fountain drink. A , would come here any day of the week!
I had their lunch special cheese steak, which came with fries and a drink at a reasonable price. The meal was great, especially the fries! Most of the fries were already eaten by the time I took the photo.
Although it may seem like a small place, it is the best in Sommerville. The crust is soft and is hard to find. Also it has the best prices you will find as well. Definitely worth a try!

This is the best pizza in the area, and their rice balls are truly exceptional—possibly even better than those in Brooklyn! Eating here made me feel like I was back in Brooklyn itself.

This is by far the worst pizza I've ever had. The ingredients taste synthetic, and the service was terrible. The person at the counter was rude and unhelpful.
Ordered delivery and received notice the pizza was on the way. It arrived around 20 minutes to 1/2 hour later and cold. I live 5-7 minutes away.
