Delicious food, served with a smile! I had a wonderful time here, the BLT was fresh and delicious, chicken soup was delicious and they didn't skimp on the chicken! The cheesecake rounded out my meal and let me tell you, that was a slab! Had to take some of it home! You definitely will not go home hungry from here. Very reasonable prices, great little atmosphere, the Caldwell Diner is everything a great Jersey Diner should be. Will definitely be returning! I stopped by on the recommendation of the ladies at St Peter's Opshop in Essex Fells, and it was a great recommendation! The waot staff were professional and friendly. The steak taco were amazingly tender and very flavorful. The only request not met was for the corn tortillas to be cooked on the grill. They were raw and fell apart as I was eating the taco. You will get a big meal for the money here. I came here 4 times and my party ordered different omelets each time here. Good service. Food gets points for the big portions but its normal diner food.
