Wanting dinner a place to watch the 49er's game, we showed up at Cali Costa. We are locals and we both saw a recent post by someone who was disgruntled at the service. Call it a blessing in disguise because we decided to check it out ourselves. We were pleasantly surprised! The meal was delicious, the service was great, and the ambiance was exceptional! There are TV's EVERYWHERE!!! We chose the patio area with a fire pit on the table. We had a fantastic evening and will be back.
Well we booked in advance for a party of 12. The service was horrible. It was forever to get drinks, water or alcohol. When I looked in the kitchen it looked like only 1 cook was there on a Friday night. The other cook must have been outta sight, but if not that explains why it took so long to get our orders, poor guy. Food was OK. I do understand the work force is scarce so that could be part of the problem. Hopefully things will get better.
We were in the area running some errands when my husband suggested we stop here for lunch on a Saturday. I decided to try the enchilada plate, which came with perfectly seasoned beans and queso fresco. Everything on my plate was absolutely delicious! Our server, Kai, was very attentive, friendly, and professional. The restaurant had plenty of TVs, a wide variety of drink options, and the food was fantastic!

I've driven by Cali Costa a few times and always wanted to try. The place looks cozy and cute from the outside, but looks can be deceiving. Inside of Cali Costa looks like a dive bar. It's kind dark and dinky. I ordered a short rib breakfast burrito, and the total was $19+. The burrito itself was unimpressive. I'm not sure about returning.
Kaycee is amazing! So friendly and happy to serve her customers. She literally listens (I'm high maintenance) and delivers what you ask for with a smile on her face. Patio is great in warm weather and dog friendly! I highly recommend, but be sure to ask for Kaycee to take care of you. Happy hour has great deals.
The food was excellent, and they brought complimentary salsa and chips. The salsa was very tasty. We sat outdoors, and they promptly turned on the heater when we requested. There is a parking lot, which is great. The staff was friendly, and their service was very good.
COLBY was amazing! Great customer service and great place to watch football. Salsa was good. The breakfast carnita tacos were delicious.Had to write a review just because of Colby. He was so nice and so cool and great at his job! Book a table now
Awesome Mexican/California style food and great cocktails. Love the chips and guacamole and margaritas. Friendly and attentive service, tasty Baja tacos all served at the original location/building of Hobie Surfboards.
