I was in the area searching for healthy dining options, and this place ended up being the best choice. They serve real food that isn't processed or fried, all made from scratch. The aroma inside is incredible, and you can see everything being cooked right before your eyes. They even make their own salsa from scratch. The birria tacos were juicy, filled with tender stewed beef, and the chicken dinner was substantial. It's authentic food prepared by dedicated people who truly take pride in their craft.
I ordered takeout and I was pleasantly surprised with how good the food was here. The staff was all very friendly and patient. I saw other reviews that said the food didn?t have any flavor. I am accustomed to eating very authentic Spanish, Mexican, andother ethnic foods and this was pretty flavorful. So, I?m not sure what experience others have had. If you like some spice, theKingston Fire bowl is really good. I look forward to returning here and highly recommend this spot.
I would give this place zero stars if I could! On October 5, 2022, I went into Caliente to pick up an order when I witnessed an employee drop the food and then pick it up and put it back into the deep fryer. That's absolutely disgusting, and they should be ashamed of themselves! I immediately contacted Uber Eats to let them know I would not be picking up the order, and they notified the customer, who canceled it. So gross! Stay far away from this place!

Their horchata is simply the best, and the Taco Tuesday special is a lot of fun. The tacos are incredibly tasty as well! I usually opt for the build-your-own taco option and load it up with pico, guacamole, and all the delicious toppings. It's absolutely delicious!
