I really enjoy the menu here; there are many excellent options to choose from, many of which are healthy. However, it can be quite pricey for a quick lunch. We were charged nearly $3 extra for cauliflower rice, and our order of three small sides to share along with one soft drink totaled $61 for two people. We would certainly come back, but next time we'll skip the sides to keep our lunch cost more reasonable. I had the Cajun barramundi with cauliflower rice and kale slaw, which was delicious. My wife ordered the chimichurri salmon with zucchini and a side salad, which she thoroughly enjoyed. Honestly, I frequently order takeout from this place, but lately, it feels like the staff are just going through the motions. During my last visit, I placed my order and received a vibrating tag indicating my food would be ready in 10 to 15 minutes. After waiting 30 minutes, I approached the counter to check on my order. The employee handed me my food, which had clearly been sitting out for a while. She didn't offer any utensils, napkins, or anything else; she just said everything was in the bag. It's hard to shake the feeling that they don't want to be there. I thoroughly enjoyed my salmon dish from this restaurant. I opted for a combination of Cajun and garlic butter sauces, and it was truly delightful. I paired it with Brussels sprouts, which were just as delicious. My boyfriend ordered the chicken, but he found it to be rather dry, so I wouldn't recommend that option. Nonetheless, I will certainly be back for the salmon and Brussels sprouts!
I thoroughly enjoy the fresh food at this restaurant, regardless of what I choose. I appreciate the addition of chimichurri sauce as an option. It would be nice if they could expand their drink selection as well. The portion sizes appear to be smaller than they were in the past, but the prices remain quite reasonable considering the quality of the food.

The food was good, but I ended up eating it about two hours after I bought it. The service was a bit strange; they placed the order on a table and called out names, which made it somewhat difficult to hear. The atmosphere was nice, although there weren’t many trash cans around. They also offered both vegan and keto options.
They only provide a small cup of dressing for a salad that is primarily made up of lettuce. After using the single tablespoon of dressing they give you, I ended up having to eat most of my salad without any dressing.
The shrimp salad could use some improvement, especially concerning the asparagus, which has tough sections that make it less enjoyable to eat. I wouldn't recommend it, at least not with the asparagus included.

The shrimp battered fish, shrimp taco combo, and fish taco combo are incredibly tasty! This is the best spot in Downey for Baja-style real fish tacos, and I know my tacos!
The service was mostly attentive and quick, and they were accommodating with their facilities.
