We waited nearly an hour for our final dish while observing more than two dozen customers who arrived after us, placed their orders, and left with their food. It appeared that they didn't even start on our dish until they had cleared those other orders. Absolutely frustrating. When the empanada finally arrived, it was burned to a crisp on the bottom and completely inedible. At $6 for a single empanada, it was a huge disappointment. I really don’t like leaving reviews like this but it needs to be done. Food was not up to par. Bistec is usually a nice sized piece of steak but of course, it was an “appetizer” size.. 4 oz at the most. Steak also lacked flavor was extremely dry. Fries were extremely soggy dripping oil while the inside was undercooked and had a “blocky” consistency. Jalea did not have squid.. which is a staple.Food was horrible, if you’ve had true authentic Peruvian food any point in your life… you’ll know this place is NOT itNow for the Jalea.. I’ve never had Jalea that is so dark.. like cooked in extremely old oil dark. Even then, the Jalea was also dry lacked flavor as well.
I've dined at many authentic Peruvian restaurants in my life, and this one is, unfortunately, the worst I've ever encountered. It felt like a total waste of money. The Jalea was unappetizing, with a dark brown color that suggested it had been fried in dirty oil. The bistec a la probe was dry, the fries were undercooked, and the egg was simply unacceptable (how do you mess up an egg?). I can't recommend this place to anyone, and I certainly won't be ordering from here again. What a disappointing experience for my dinner. This restaurant doesn't even deserve a single star.
My sister hosted two graduation parties for my nephew and used catering from this place, and I absolutely loved their lomo saltado. I asked her which catering service she used, and she recommended this restaurant to me. I visited the restaurant specifically for the lomo saltado and also tried the ceviche with mushrooms—oh my goodness! It was incredibly delicious! You have to give it a try! I will definitely be coming back and will order catering from here when I host parties!

The food was exceptional. Although they got my order wrong, the staff member who took it seemed to be new, so I don't hold it against them. Just be sure to double-check your order with them. The prices are quite reasonable. The empanadas were different from what I'm used to; they have a fluffier shell and are sprinkled with powdered sugar, but they were still really tasty.
Our family sampled a variety of dishes, and everyone was completely satisfied. The Lomo Saltado, Peruvian pesto pasta with steak, and ceviche mixto were definitely worth returning for! We also indulged in several desserts, and it was great to see that everyone had a different favorite. I can't describe the flavors, but we all loved them, along with the homemade drinks.
Wow, this is the best Peruvian restaurant in the area! Everything was incredibly fresh and delicious. The papa rellena, empanadas, salchipapa, and tallarín verde were all fantastic. The chicha is made in-house and is a must-try. The staff was extremely polite, and you could tell the cook works very hard and is skilled at his job.
I really dislike having to say this because the food is truly fantastic, but the customer service I've experienced on both occasions—once for dining in and once for takeout—has not matched the quality of the food. The staff should recognize their potential and pay more attention to the details.
