my man and I were in swindon for work and wanted to have a pub meal, but where to go? so many decisions. we finally decided to have a place on the land that had great reviews. on a Tuesday evening there were not many customers, but the atmosphere was warm and welcoming and the whole room had a cozy feeling. we sat near the kamin, as it was quite cold in the night, and we could not help but notice the sign that explained that all foods were ready to order. good sign. Excellent Sunday lunch! Attentive, friendly staff with the best Sunday roast we've had in a long time. Very reasonable prices and fresh beautifully cooked food. Big car park and lovely countryside views. What's not to like!!
Proper life gem of a place. Good staff, food and drinks were great.. everything was clean and tidy. Its a credit to the people who are running this establishment . What's not to like ?
