Calvert's In The Heights

The atmosphere and stuff for this restaurant was typical of your local sports bar. The Establishment was clean, the restrooms were clean, the waitresses were friendly and attentive. I ordered the Philly cheesesteak which was you are my favorite. The cheese sauce they use was overwhelming and took away from the taste of the steak and peppers. I think a little less cheese sauce would have been a much more pleasant experience. I suggest ordering the sauce on the side that way you can adjust as to the amount. It made the sandwich extremely messy. All in all, very good experience though. I definitely enjoyed their version of french fries as well.

When we entered first. I was a little underwhelmed and thought if we stayed the service would be terrible. Thanks to a wonderful owner and our fabulous waiter Travis. By the way, I recommend asking you when you go. Our visit to Calverts went from disaster to be blessed in a few seconds. It helps everything so that the food was absolutely amazing. Thank you for having us and me and my family again. Stay blessed

That was our first time. I had the steak salad. The steak was perfectly grilled. My husband had the Färger and Maische. He enjoyed it. Two in our party had the swollen pastries with pot roasts, potatoes and gravy. You really liked it. Since it was my birthday, I had a pane of fudge cake. Very rich and delicious! There are many options on the menu. We'll be back.
