Enjoyed Sunday brunch here with my Bestie visiting from Seattle and everything was perfection!!! Omar Abdul Karim had a quartet playing fantastic jazz and the food?!?!!! Absolutely delicious!!! I had the steak, eggs +biscuit friend had french toast +all sides. The potatoes were what you want breakfast potatoes to always be but never are. Perfectly crispy outside, creamy in and the POT of French press coffee.....TY! Obviously will return for brunch and excited to try the other menu too! The Blackend cat fish was good. The grits were not. The temperature of grits was not too my liking it seemed like a microwave grit or something. The chicken wings were really good fries and beef and rice. Overall, I tried several dishes. I was with my friends, so we all shared. Everything was good except grits. My friend was upset about her drink she said it was not the same like she had it before.
First of all this is a must stop for brunch in the twin cities. Today was my first time eating here and it was amazing. They had live music and the staff was friendly. The food was top notch! I’ll be back later this month again. I had the French toast and added eggs and beef sausage. I love a place that has great drinks too. I ordered the grown folks mimosa and it did not disappoint.
Was in here a couple weeks ago, hand the black eyes pea croquets and the collard green dip, both were absolutely delicious! Our cocktails were nice, and I loved the atmosphere. The owner was around and was very welcoming. Will definitely be back for more of a meal!
