There were several choices: salad buffet, "hot meals" buffet, plat du jour, meat of the day, burger of the day, and pasta of the day. I ordered the buger of the day and got a duck burger with hot camembert cheese and some nice baked potatoes. It was better than I expected, especially the potatoes, but I'm not sure everyone would like it. The menu was basic and overpriced. My wife had salad bar, I had the burger, and specifically asked for it well done, it was raw in the middle. Afraid of the customary spit if returned to the kitchen, I declined a replacement. The waiter brought a piece of yellow, buffet chicken as a consolation prize, which I declined also. He made some kind of French facial expression like he was genuinely apologizing for the poor quality, but still charged for the burger. We should have walked around the hotel, there were several outdoor restaurants available.
The restaurant provides several options for breakfast and dinner and this was a great way to get fueled up for a long day of touring. However, the food was not great, it was simply good! Multiple times I left the restaurant still hungry, but that option was better than what was being served and that was tragic. I would not recommend this hotel or restaurant to travelers as there are better options that are more cost effective and closer to the city center.
Had a buffet style breakfast. The menu choices were far above what is typically offered in a continental breakfast. Can never get accustomed to the coffee in Europe but beyond that the food was very good.
Just commenced a 28 day coach tour from London. Had two breakfasts in restaurant with a good selection of both continental and full English. Staff were pleasant and helpful
