Celebrating my wife's birthday and what a nice, and unique, gesture...a birthday card on our table signed by all of the staff. Just the two of us dining and our table for 2 was next to a table seated for 12. When we arrived the table next to ours, half of the people were standing and children were running circles around the table screaming. I immediately thought to ask to be seated elsewhere but thought they were getting ready to depart since some were standing. Unfortunately realized later they were not ready to leave. When served their desert some stood to eat. So weird and this had been going on, why were we seated here? Ruined our evening really. Food was inventive but we both ordered ha...
I recently had a business dinner at Campfire in Carlsbad, and it was an exceptional experience. The ambiance was amazing, with trendy and rustic vibes that made for a cozy and inviting atmosphere. The food was outstanding, particularly the brisket which was perfectly smoked and flavorful. A highlight of the evening was the interactive S’mores dessert, allowing us to roast marshmallows at the table – a fun and memorable touch. Overall, Campfire provided a perfect blend of great food, unique ambiance, and excellent service. I would definitely return and highly recommend it.
We booked a table for 12 for a special multi-course birthday meal and had a wonderful experience. The food just kept coming, and was varied, delicious, and FUN. The booking process and coordination and flexibility of the restaurant was on-point, and they executed everything we discussed John, Jason, and the team took exceptionally attentive care of our table and were pleasant, friendly, and helpful the whole evening. I'd highly recommend booking any large special event with them!
Service and ambience were great! Quality of food was excellent. The prices for the actual amount of food was very disappointing. We paid $36 for the brisket and we got 2 thin slices. For $36 id expect 4 slices as it's an entree, not a small plate appetizer. We paid $22 for a crudo app , and although it was delicious, it was two small bites for each of us. Would recommend but be prepared to pay a lot and not get fair portions.

Appetizers were interesting and tasty. Service was great! Brisket was not good. Over cooked, little flavor, almost 1/4 fat and no bark. It was our anniversary and we appreciated the champagne gesture but I don't drink and my wife was having red wine so it was a bit of a waste. I'm 50/50 on returning or recommending to others.
What an experience! Chef Benji really took care of us. You waitress was amazing and very helpful as well. The ambiance was really fun and not at all pretentious. But the food, well the food was REALLY memorable. I really can’t praise the kitchenhighly enough. So good. I will be back when I can!
This restaurant is definitely one of the top ten in North County. The food is excellent, the service is great, the cocktails are fantastic, and the setting and decor are awesome. I have dined here over 10 times and have never had a bad meal. If you're in Carlsbad, don't miss out on this place.
We had a wonderful evening at Campfire. Our waitstaff server was excellent; however, something was going on in the kitchen as our dinner was very slow to come to us. We were offered apps as compensation for the wait, much appreciated.
