I came to Italy a dozen times, so I'd be a tough criticism. The Bruschetta was soggy and the pizza margherita was American style chest with cheese. I had great hopes when I saw the wood stove to just be abandoned. The service was very good. I wouldn't be interested in going back, especially at the price point $72.00 for two people. No drinks. You could use less tables. Officially, another table had removed less than 12 inches from me and my mother was surrounded on her side of the table.
What a fantastic Italian restaurant! The waiting staff was excellent-Janet was our server and made sure we had a great experience. It was elevated, then we expected lol, but didn't stop at all. The food was so delicious!!! The menu is limited, but it is perfect what is done. I don't drink, but was completely amazed at her wine and drinks after dinner. Parking simply...a very nice outdoor terrace-only too hot today for our pleasure. Recommend!!!
What did you do? I've been here for years to get the short ribs and never again. The waitress proudly announced that a new, slimmer meat has now been used. What I was served was pot roast, not short ribs! Short ribs have a bone and yes, it is a fat piece of meat. That's what there is. I don't have to spend $40 for pot roast! How sad!
We've come here for years and had great experiences. Service is top and the food is really delicious. Had the spicy Bolognese tonight and it was wonderful. The Budino and Moussekuchen are also charming and interesting desserts. Perfect for a group meal or even a date.
