We ate here twice while in Schladming (as we were staying at the hotel) and our only regret is that we didn’t do so more or have more than just a main course. Menu is not too crowded and suggests that the people behind the dishes actually thought about them while retaining a local twist. Everything we had on both visits was very well prepared and presented; the stand out being the smoked pheasant with pumpkin risotto. This is also the sort of place where you won’t feel out of place with a beer or even hot chocolate but if wine is your things then the staff can also recommend something for each dish from the small but equally well composed wine list.
