camping site with river teaser as next neighbor. Sightseeing boats and river boats over. we had a place for our little campervan several days before the arrival and the booking was confirmed. on the day of arrival I send an email to the manager in the afternoon...with a message of delays due to the strong traffic on German and Swiss autobahns. we arrived at 10 o'clock and the manager said: we closed at 20 o'clock. we have no place for you. I told him about my email, but he denied twice that he had seen it and sent us out. four minutes later he came to the tor and lifted it and gave us a space near the beginning. it was all, I think, thanks to a very gentle endurance guest on the campsite. he...
this campsite is ideal for visiting heidelberg, as it is possible to get a boat from the nearby pretty village teaargemund (5 minutes to foot) directly to heidelberg (there is also a good bus service). the camping site is located right next to the river and...has attractive prospects (especially if they have a riverside), we found all the facilities to be clean and very well maintained. our only grip was the traffic noise from the bridge (which, although it was not unbearable), was simply beaten away in the background this was the most remarkable first thing in the morning. all in all, although this is a large camping site that we would recommend to everyone.
we stayed only 1 night and traveled in a residential property. Unfortunately, the same day as a wheel race arrived, so it was difficult to get to the ground due to road locks. rasenplatz, right at the river and very easy to park the van. paid wlan, signal good. regarding the location I would class the camping site as well, they can reach bus and train for connecting to heidelberg to foot or drive down the river (lasts about an hour and is the most expensive option.) however the sanitary facilities were not good, needed good cleaning.
We only stayed 1 night, travelling in a motorhome. Unfortunately arrived on the same day as a bike race so it was difficult to get into the site due to road closures. Grassed site, right on the river and very easy to park the van....Paid wifi, signal good. In terms of location I'd rate the campsite as good, you can walk to bus and train for connection into Heidelberg, or barge down river (takes about an hour and is most costly option). However the sanitary facilities weren't good, needed a good clean. Book a table now
what a sound! besides the beautiful teasing and the beautiful old town of teasargemünd. jan, the owner, was very hospitable and we also enjoyed one evening his company in the nearby gasthof to the ship. the toilets and showers are fantastic! really clean and modern. try to get a parking space on the water when they can. a lot of goose, cruise ships, rowers, geese, ducks, and even ice birds in front of their doorstep! the shipping to heidelberg should not be missed!
very nice quiet river. we didn't manage to climb up directly next to the river, but the second row back gave good prospects for the river traffic. nice caffe. no evening meal or shower facilities were tried. gentle walk in the small town. aldi, rewe and Lidl...by the bridge and walking distance, but all have good parking for residential property. very enjoyed day trip to hiedelberg with the boot excellent service with the bus and the train also, we would recommend.
what a sound! next to the beautiful Neckar River and the beautiful old town in teasargemund. the owner was very welcoming and we also enjoyed his company in the nearby gasthof to the ship of an evening. the toilets and showers are fantastic! really clean and modern....Try and get them a waterfront pitch when they can. a lot goes on. barges, cruises, herons, geese, ducks and even kingfishers in front of the door! the boat trip to heidelberg is not to be missed!
this camping site and above all the view and the environment are amazing! when they visit in heidelberg a family business atmosphere, good eating and the nature like they go there. we were already several paintings there and the owner of herr van der velden ensures that they always feel like home. very good service!
