We have visited this restaurant on many occasions and Mario's never fails to please. Eating at this restaurant makes a special occasion out of even just a light lunch. Absolutely everything is good, but the meat is by far the best I've ever tasted and be sure to ask the servers for the wonderful fruit and vegetables picked from Mario's own extensive garden. There are always fresh alternatives to the menu and as you would expect the rice dishes and paellas are sublime. Also if you give Mario a chance, he will go out of his way to prepare you something very special for like whole turbots and sucking pig. Mario also always has wine recommendations the likes of which you would pay top dollar for...
We always visit this restaurant when we go to Llavaneres. The welcome is always the same sooo friendly and welcoming and the food is excellent. Whether you want to eat shellfish, meat or fish you won't be disappointed. Walk past all the other places in the port and head to this restaurant and ask for Mario. !!

It's a great place, I don't know its history, but as a resident of this area, I think it's very good that there are so many people who have the means to enjoy this wonderful sea browsing through it.
