We went to dinner at the restaurant yesterday. the place is spacious, quiet and very careful. from the first we share incomings (croquettes, squids and cheese table.) very abundant and rich, highly recommended all (the cheeses are potent and the croquettes and squids very top.) of seconds we order lamb palette, rodaballo, meatballs and butifarra. very abundant and obtained all the dishes. the truth is that we loved them and we recommend them to dessert we ask tiramisu, flan and Catalan cream. rich less the flan that didn't end up dripping us, though it felt homemade. We heard it was a great place. Maybe it used to be, I don't know, my bet is that the chef was on holidays. The paella was really watery, I had better paellas in a 9€ menu restaurants. No taste at all. Disappointing. Salads were good. The fish was dry, it really look re-heated. Deserts were ok and coffee was ok too. The place is nice and clean, the service is unprofessional but they are lovely people. I can handle that. I think the chef and the good waiters were on holidays. This is just a normal restaurant for people with no big expectations. The price would be OK if the food had been tasty.
I was visiting a client in Banyoles and decided to look for a place to have lunch. This restaurant is modern and elegant and the lunch menu at 12€ is great value for what you get. A nice goat 's cheese salad for a starter and a great arros a la cassola (typical catalan rice with seafood and meat) as a main course. I told them I eat gluten-free and they even prepared a generous plate of strawberries for desert just for me. Will come back definitely!
Ahir vam estar dinant a can Xabanet i ens va encantar tan el menjar ,com el tracte del personal. Vam demanar tapes variades i totes boníssimes! Unes postres fantàstiques i un tracte exquisit per part de tots. Era la primera vegada ja que el vam descobrir perque accepten gossets i vam provar.Ja el tenim anotat perque repetirem moltes vegades! El recomano al x !!!!!!!!

molts anys que venim i coneixem aquest mitic restaurant. The last experience has been so bad. the plats to distemps ja d 'entry, poor and scarce. the main ones can neither be minced or crus or passats i sense cap mena de guarnició. not for a pool peix at the forn. sap greu i punt, no hi turnsarem.
spectacular food. we arrived without knowing the restaurant trusting us of the opinion of other users and it was all a finding! classic Catalan food made without unnecessary pyrotechnias but of high quality execution; home canals, pork and veal cartilla and home desserts (Catalan cream) of 10.
I’ve been there only one time. The place is nice, near the Lake. The guy who was attending us was friendly. You can eat a la carte ir daily menu. We chose to have dinner a la carte and all the dishes were well presented and really tasty. A good value for money.
