Hats off to the management and staff of Cantinetta for truly earning this one-star review from me. It was a team effort that I felt deserved recognition. We had guests from out of town and it was up to us to pick a restaurant that showcased the best of Crosby (according to Google reviews). We were a party of 10 who had reserved a table for Saturday evening with plenty of time to prepare and even pre-order if needed. Upon arrival, we were seated and given the drink menu. I did not have a great experience at this restaurant. The prawn risotto had only 4 prawns and was dry and flavorless. It would have been better with some herbs for garnish. I had to wait over 45 minutes between my starter and main course. Despite it being an Italian restaurant, there was no Italian music playing in the background. The staff were friendly, but I would not choose to dine here again. Overall, the service and food were rated as a 2 out of 5, while the atmosphere was a 3 out of 5. The price per person for dinner was between £30-40.

This restaurant is stunningly clean and has a lovely atmosphere. The service is exceptional and the overall ambiance is very pleasant. I highly recommend this restaurant to everyone. The establishment itself is gorgeous and inviting.

The staff was excellent and the dining experience was very pleasant. The fillet steak was absolutely amazing.
