What a great place. We spent most of our time and money here during our 4 day stay in Laval. We were greeted and waited on with 5 star service. Nothing was too much trouble. After the second visit we were given peanuts free of charge. We started out as a couple, but met other English bikers also staying in Laval (MotoGP), finishing off as a group of 10. We drank them dry of red wine (Cotes de Bourge) and Stella Artois. They even cooked food for 10 at 9:30 on a Sunday night and it was superb. If we ever go back to Laval we will definitely frequent again.
Whether you're in a couple, family or friends, run! The service is unpleasant and very slow (40 minutes for two drinks), the mediocre kitchen and it is quite expensive in general (quality/price ratio). The atmosphere is cold with customers and pretentious servers (it all becomes a question of "appear"...) It is very unfortunate because it is the only sunny terrace until late and there is a beautiful view of the mayenne.
Great bar/restaurant overlooking the river with an outside Terrace. Always busy with locals and tourists. Staff serve you at your table even just for drinks, they are always very polite and efficient. Great place to have a drink and while away a few hours watching the world go by.
nice welcome, hearty and fresh dishes. classic hamburger, homemade fries: excellent. gartered and very good salad. terrace however asez noisy with the cisculation of the hundredth city. I recommend

Whether it's for a glass on the terrace or for lunch/dining, it's always a good time. Good atmosphere. offers excellent salads, burgers and special mention for gourmet coffee!
nice surprise that this brewery, simple but copied and well presented dishes. desserts are home where a pastry shop comes from. to test in spite of the frame.
I wish I'd gone to the terrace overlooking the Mayenne but I don't smoke! And then it's too sound. No good music. On the other hand, a very good welcome.
