I dined at this restaurant last night with friends, and unfortunately, my suggestion left us all feeling slightly disappointed. Each of us ordered different dishes, but we all felt that the portion sizes were lacking. I have eaten here before and never encountered this issue, so I suspect that the portions may have been reduced to keep prices competitive. Personally, I would prefer to pay a bit more for a more satisfying meal. Despite this, the food was excellent, but the portion sizes were a downside. Encouraging to see a restaurant busy mid week, we called in on the off chance and were seriously impressed. The Leicestershire area has been missing a decent Italian since the old owners of Ferraris retired. Every dish that came out the kitchen was piping hot, superbly presented and what we tried all tasted fresh. Make sure you leave room for dessert the Tiramisu was stunning Drink prices are very reasonable along with a friendly team of staff. Highly recommend
We had a fantastic time at this restaurant, with a warm and friendly owner and staff including Massimo, Alessandro, and Lauren. They took great care of us, especially considering one of our group had a severe nut allergy. The food was amazing! We will definitely be booking again when we come to visit our daughter at university.
Superb service and fantastic food. Mid week and a really good atmosphere. Quality , fresh food served with a smile and knowledgable wine recommendations. Also stayed over in one of their guest rooms...quirky and spotless.
