This is our go to Indian restaurant and if we ever take any one with us they love it as well !! Visited last night the place was busy with nearly every table filled! Each and every member of staff greets you warmly ! We...were offered to try some very new dishes last night from the chef which we did and wow they were really tasty I had the chicken afghani which was presented lovely, lots of chicken in thick hot sauce with a really good kick to it it!my husband had a new lamb dish made too vindaloo heat again lots of tender lamb with amazing flavours !We both agreed we would order these dishes again !We had some side dishes, a really reasonable bottle of merlot also ! All in all a great Meal...
We visited during the eat out to help out campaign on a Wednesday evening as it’s their special night £11.99 for a 4 course meal. We all ordered a starter, main, side and rice or nan as per the £11.99 special with some beers and...poppadoms. We we not informed at any time that the Wednesday special was not available so when the bill arrived we were shocked at the price at over £100 for 3 people. This cost more than it would have with the special deal... so totally voided the eat out to help out plus cost extra! We were all regular users of Cardamom using the takeaway service but this has left us all with a bad taste and now we will take our business elsewhere. I gave 3 stars as there was not...
I was in a party of 10 that visited Cardamom unannounced on a Sunday evening. We were welcomed into the restaurant by the staff and some customers were happy to move their table in order that our party could sit together. Very very friendly we...thought. The atmosphere was very good. All the staff were friendly, calm and very efficient. There is an extensive choice on the menu and all the food consumed was excellent. We have visited this restaurant a few times previously and its always delivered a great experience.
the service was disgusting, we stayed on the table, for over 20 minutes had to call waiter to get a beverage order and menus. drinking order was wrong, no apology about the mistake. had to order a waiter to eat after popadoms....We waited for about 45 minutes to come to the meal. there were no more requests to drink, coffee or desserts. when I complained about the service at the waiter, he smiled at me! eating is excellent. I will not visit this restaurant again.

Table was set, clean and ready on arrival, with some lovely spring flowers, tulips which was so cheery on a cold and very wet evening. Service attentive without being over bearing, food delicious and was offered a complimentary liquor at the end of the meal,...making it very special. Thank you all at Cardamom for making it a lovely evening!
Surprisingly good food for a small local Indian restaurant. The service was friendly and attentive, with a problem with the bill being rectified quickly. Really delicious food, would definitely recommend.
our first visit since picking up to our favorite curry house, cardamom petts wood, felt like we had not been away, great service, fantastic eating and of course a very friendly welcome.
the ordered king prawn biryani, have always really enjoyed by cardamom, whether eaten in or withgest. I'm sorry to say that today's court was missing in prawns.
