I absolutely love the oxtails so that's what I order most often but I've tried other dishes too (jerk pork and brown stew chicken are my others go-tos) so you honestly can't go wrong. Every single thing I've eaten here is well-seasoned and tastes like it was made with love.
I was visiting the area and craving some Jamaican food, so we chose this place based on the reviews. They were spot on—the oxtail was fantastic, and the greens were equally good! I ordered white rice, which was cooked to perfection. I would definitely come back again in the future. I just wish they served alcohol, as a rum punch would have really completed the meal!
We had an amazing experience at this restaurant! The food was delicious, served hot, and the portion sizes were generous. The staff had a wonderful vibe that made our visit even more enjoyable. We ordered curry chicken, oxtails, cabbage, peas and rice, and plantains, and everything was fantastic. We'll definitely come back whenever we're in Charleston!

I was very satisfied with my experience. Everything was hot and fresh. My only minor issue was that the cashier had a bit of an attitude, which seemed to affect the overall vibe of the restaurant. Other than that, the food was excellent! I ordered the Ruck chicken plate, and my companion had the oxtail plate. Delicious!
The best Ruck Chicken I've ever had! The meat just falls off the bone, and it has a delightful smoky flavor with a hint of spice in the sauce. The rice and peas, complemented by the chicken sauce, were absolutely delicious. I will definitely be back to try more items on the menu!
I had red snapper, brown stewed oxtails, curry goat, rice and beans , plantains, beef patties and coco bread and washed down with a ginger beer. Absolutely beautiful people and wonderful experience. Needless to say I had the itis
The jerk chicken is authentic and made with love. The meat come right of the bone and oxtail sauce just adds to the greatness. The staff are welcoming. It’s good to my people keeping true to the roots.
