I hadn't had occasion to be there in maybe 15 years. And I obviously need more like occasions. The staff is wonderful, the energy is like the best West Village bistro in NYC, and the meat is heavenly. I took a friend there who was performing at the Improv, just a two block walk from the place. And she is a complete carnivore. Who could not have been happier, from the first table we walked past and she was able to see what we had to look forward to. Delicious. With a great wine list (though we didn't drink tonight), a great variety of menu sensations, but bottom line, it may be the best steaks north of Argentina.
I absolutely adored the food at this restaurant. The Filet Mignon was exceptional, the sides were tasty, and my high expectations were definitely met. The Chef/ Owner was kind enough to treat us to a delicious Heavenly Dulce de Leche ice cream, which was a wonderful surprise.
The food at this restaurant is excellent. The service is also great. I have been coming to this place since I was a child and I always have a fantastic dining experience. The ribeye and beef tartare were excellent, as well as the Papas Fritas. I will definitely be returning.
This is one of the best restaurants in Los Angeles by far. If you like a good steak, come, here, it will blow any place out of the water that you’ve tried in LA. Max is a great Somalia, and will recommend the perfect Malbec .
