We were kept waiting a long time for our table, having waiters and waitresses walk past us, blanking us completely. We were finally show to our table, but to be honest, it felt kind of hostile. We have dined at Carluccio’s in Milton Keynes numerous times, but after our most recent visit, we won't be returning. The food remains decent for a chain restaurant, but the overall standard has significantly declined. The establishment was dirty, with spills and food remnants from the previous diners left unaddressed on the floor. I notified the waitress, but unfortunately, there was a language barrier that hindered effective communication. The restrooms were in a filthy state, which is a major red flag. The service was excellent, and the dining experience met our expectations. My wife and I decided to try the extravagant Sharing Cellar. It was enjoyable, but there was much more meat than cheese, olives, and bread. I'm not sure if the portions were balanced. For my main course, I had the seafood linguine, which was quite good. My wife ordered the sirloin; she enjoyed it but mentioned it was a bit tough. Overall, it was a pleasant experience, though on the pricier side.

I was staying at a hotel nearby, so I decided to give Carluccio's a try for dinner after work. I chose the calamari as my appetizer.
The server was friendly and very helpful in assisting me with my pasta selection. It was absolutely delicious!
