I had a fantastic dining experience at this restaurant. The prices were reasonable, the service was exceptional, and the staff was genuinely warm. They served a salad that was a delightful medley of flavors, topped with lemon, and I can still taste it six weeks later. The salmon was perfectly cooked, and my partner absolutely loved the ribs and another dish that was made with bark (I couldn't try it since I'm pescatarian). If I ever return to San Juan, I would love to dine here again! Our server, Stephen if I remember correctly, was a true gem.
Food was delicious! I got the ribeye and the mushroom risotto was off the charts! Bread pudding for dessert a must! The waitstaff accommodated all of our requests and really cared about our experience. This was our last night in Puerto Rico with family and it was a homerun! Do not be fooled when you arrive at the location....we thought we took a wrong turn but once upstairs via elevator we stepped into a quaint atmosphere with a great view! You will not be disappointed.
We love this place! We went for my husband’s birthday and since we arrive they greet him. The appetizers, food and deserts were delicious. And the piña colada was very good. Even though it was cloudy the view was awesome. We will definitely will be back. The chef came by our table, let us felt at home. Alexis welcome us, was attentive with us, and went far and beyond to explain every the definitely made good our experience at Carnes Steakhouse.
A great authentic Argentina steakhouse with great food and service. The wine menu is limited and our waiter spoke very little English but pointed us to the best dishes made in house. The place is small and loud but I did see a private room in the back. Enjoyed the open kitchen and staff was very friendly

I usually don’t take the time to review restaurants unless the experience was outstanding and I just say the chef(s) in this kitchen knows flavor. The mushroom risotto was perfectly prepared. The Carbonara had to be the best I ever had. When I visit PR again I will go back to this restaurant.
Service took a very long time to get our drinks and food orders. The food itself was great. But the wait time was too long. Other people that came after us were served first. Took more than 2 hours to dine there.
The atmosphere is very cozy, the food is excellent, and the service is top-notch. I highly recommend it!
