Hadn't been to an ice cream store in 40 yrs, so I was kinda looking forward to a nice hot fudge Sunday. Sadly, every single barrel of ice cream in the case had an obvious skin on top, as if no one had eaten any in a month. That put me off, so I hadsoft serve in a bowl with chocolate sauce, instead. I hadn't been to an ice cream shop in 40 years, so I was really looking forward to enjoying a classic hot fudge sundae. Unfortunately, every tub of ice cream I saw had a noticeable skin on top, as if it hadn't been touched in a month. This really turned me off, so I opted for soft serve in a bowl with chocolate sauce instead. What a letdown! I'm not a big fan of soft serve, and the chocolate sauce didn’t impress me either. On a positive note, the young server was really nice, and he had a beautiful face that caught my attention.
The ice cream is as you 'd expect amazing. For anyone who likes ice cream, this is the best place in Little Silver. They have soft ice cream (vanilla, chocolate, twist), hard flavors, and even sugar free options. On Wednesdays, they have a BoGo sundae deal that is a steal. This is one of the places that is notorious for people that are 'Little Silvering ' (refer to the Urban Dictionary if you wish).
The thick shakes aren't so thick. My kid advised me that next time I should tell them to put less milk in them. I shouldn't have to tell them how to make thick shakes, as advertised I might add. I do agree with other reviewers that the young staff is super nice and friendly and the soft ice-cream is fresh. They are super pricey and miserly with the amount of ice-cream for the size.

Carvel never fails to impress! This is hands down the best soft serve you'll ever taste. You have to try it with marshmallow sauce, hot fudge, and crunchies—it's a game changer! Every visit has been perfect, never once disappointed by their ice cream. Trust me, you won’t regret stopping by! Out of all the locations I've visited, this one is definitely the best.
We had a fantastic experience getting a birthday cake for my son! We brought in a cake topper, and they beautifully placed it on the cake. We highly recommend the Little Silver location and will definitely order from them again!
The older woman was quite rude and shook her head when I asked her about my DoorDash order. It was clear that she had a negative attitude towards Hispanic people.
Jessica is the best owner-operator in the ice cream business. It's always a pleasure to visit this Carvel. In my opinion, it's the best Carvel in the area!
