Absolutely baffling! The manager clearly lacks any understanding, and the staff seems completely lost when it comes to taking straightforward orders. The manager even struggled to make a basic ice cream! My order was a disaster and turned out poorly. After working all day, I came to this place hoping to enjoy a nice, simple ice cream, but it was a huge disappointment.
I visited Carvel today for the first time in nearly two years due to COVID, and I was quite disappointed. I ordered a small cup of Cherry Vanilla, but it was mostly soft and barely frozen, with only three small cherry pieces. The Carvel on 347 in Hauppauge consistently offers much better quality.
I've visited numerous Carvel locations across Long Island, and this one stands out as the best. We actually drive past two other Carvels just to come here. The ice cream is incredibly fresh, the staff is friendly, and on BOGO Wednesdays, they offer a great variety of sundae options.
