New ownership, same old place. I'm a huge Carvel fan. I go weekly for a sundae dasher. I avoided this location like the plague in the past. The main reason being is this place smelled like chemicals and the workers/ownership was incompetent. So I went to the location in Wantagh or the one in North Bellmore instead. But I was excited to check this location out.The first thing I noticed was that the workers were much more friendly. So I have to give them that. But that strange smell is still there. I'm not sure how they smell this all day and do nothing about it. I asked for a Reese's PB cup sundae dasher. The workers didn't know how to make a dasher which was the first strike. This place is under new management but it's all the same. I've been to plenty of Carvels and none have smelled except for this one. It's a very strange and unpleasant odor. They always run out of toppings for the sundae dashers. But often you don't know that until they start your order. The people working the counter were nice but didn't seem to be trained. There are several other Carvels in the area like Wantagh, East Meadow, and the other Bellmore location. Stay away from this one. Also these recent reviews from other accounts are fake and from new ownership. Please do better...
I had an amazing experience at Carvel today! My server, Jessica, provided exceptional service and was incredibly helpful in selecting the perfect Fudgy the Whale cake. I will definitely be returning! Her boss, Amanda, was excellent as well! This is the best Carvel in Nassau!
What a clean, beautiful Carvel. It's under new ownership by a nice young couple. The whole experience was great and the selection of flavors was amazing. Highly recommend. They even have tables to enjoy your ice cream in the store. Very Nice.
