The food was fantastic! We had a 6 pm reservation and were seated right away. Both Ty and Nacho provided excellent service with positive attitudes and great attention to our table’s needs. When we spilled something, they quickly came to help clean it up and even brought a replacement drink without us asking, which made us feel truly cared for. We enjoyed the cauliflower and mushroom flatbread, as well as the shrimp and avocado flatbread—both were delicious! The Cuban and steak sandwiches were flavorful, with a nice spicy kick. The fries were perfect, and the hummus, ricotta, and pita were all excellent. The house wine and prosecco were spot on too. I’ll definitely be returning—plus, the loca...

I joined a small group of friends for brunch at their NoMa location and had a great experience. The bottomless mimosas were a hit. I really appreciated how they brought juices to share but also dropped off bottles so we could build our own drinks. Our server was very attentive and ensured the details of our meal were handled accurately with the kitchen. The steak and eggs were a hit with my group. The avocado toast was delicious and totally Instagram ready! FYI for those coming by car: there is limited on-street parking in the area
Carving Room has officially introduced the best brunch item in DC. Their "traffic jam," shown in the photo below, offers everything you could want for a Sunday breakfast: cheesy eggs, hashbrowns, bacon, and French toast topped with their signature raspberry sauce. The portion size is just right—not too much and not too little. We’ll definitely be returning more often for this dish. The only feedback I have is that the cheesy eggs were slightly salty (just a touch). It would also be great if they could make a few tweaks.
I had never tried Matzah Ball soup before, but I ordered it and it disappeared in just about two minutes. When the waiter brought my sister's appetizer, he even asked, "Where did it go?" It was that good! I hadn’t heard of Carving Room Noma until my sister saw it featured on Diners, Drive-Ins, and Dives and insisted we had to try it. I would definitely come back again. Thanks for the delicious food and for keeping everything so clean! Book a table now
We received exceptional service from Nacho, and the atmosphere was incredibly relaxed, making us feel like regulars. We enjoyed the Classic ground brisket and feta dill cigars, but be cautious with the dipping sauce—it's definitely got some heat! We also shared the pastrami poblano sandwich, which is "triple D approved," and it was bursting with flavor. Definitely check this place out!
I highly recommend the Carving Room restaurant located in the NoMa area for a delightful meal. I discovered this gem on the Diners, Drive-Ins, and Dives TV show’s list of Washington DC restaurants, and it certainly lived up to the hype. Both the appetizers and our main courses were delicious, and the ambiance was very welcoming.
Some restaurants should get 10 stars for how delicious the food is and this is one of them. The taste and flavor is everything you could ask for and more. The vibe is really fun and loud, the aesthetic is so well done and the place was impeccably clean. We had the flatbread and burrata salad both were delicious! Thank you!!
What an amazing restaurant! I had the pleasure of meeting the owner and his wife, who are both wonderful people. The food here is delicious and made with care! Book a table now
Top notch. Nice cozy atmosphere to warm your insides with a stiff drink during the winter months. Old Fashioned was superb.
