Casa De Los Mussos

We came across this place in a back street and were attracted by the interesting-sounding and reasonably-priced menu of the day. There was no-one around except a guy cleaning windows so we asked if it was open. He indicated that it was and beckoned us to follow him. As we followed past the kitchen and toilets we realised we had been at the back and the restaurant had a much larger frontage on a busier street. We also realised that the guy was not the proprietor, as we had thought, but the window-cleaner. We were so glad that we had stopped and asked as we ended up with excellent meals for a really good price.

We went in here for their menu of the day which was an amazing low price at 10 Euros a head and had 4 plates of food each plus a drink and coffee and included dessert. There is not a choice in the menu of the day, but they are very accommodating if there’s something you can’t eat (one of us was vegetarian and I can’t eat shellfish) and will replace with something else. It was very good tasting traditional food, nice atmosphere at lunchtime and the waiter was very helpful. Would definitely recommend!!

Popped in while walking past and so glad we did. The house salad to start was amazing. Lovely chicken, seeds, lettuce, tomatoes with cheese through it. Very large and one of the best salads I've tasted. For main meal the entrecôte steak was cooked to perfection and so juicy. Sweet I got the brownie which came with ice cream. Once again all dishes were lovely. Would visit again.

A fabulous find in the centre of Lorca. The menu for the day was great in terms of quality and value. The service was excellent and friendly. Lovely tmosphere too. Thank you.

The food is very good and freshly cooked. Drinks good price and the staff very nice. Work going on outside on the facade
