For dinner at Casa Greque in Ste Therese and was surprised that we can find a parking lot so easy. Based on other reviews that rate this restaurant as an average, I was not surprised that it was empty for a Thursday night... The food was ok, we both had garlic escargots as an appetizer and baked Sampi/Shrimp as our main with Greek style potatoes and rice. It was good, but nothing special. Overall, we were satisfied with this restaurant and we were able to bring our own wine that helps to reduce the total cost. Our waiter was excellent, very friendly and helpful.
This is a greek restaurant, right? Well, there was no more souvlakis left and it was only 6:30 PM!So the kids could not eat their preferred meal. So we asked for a replacement (chicken) from the kids menu: they said no. The kids had to take adult meals in order to eat what they liked. Moreover, they charged the full price of adults, while they put less food in their plate!!Service was very sslllllooooooooow. We left at 10 PM, exhausted. Forget about the desert, we only wanted to leave.
the room we were assigned for the party was good. the waiter service took a very long time to come for entree and eating orders. I have to say the snails were good. my wife had the caukalamari! the menu showed dishes with carrots. one of my favourites when the courts arrived, they had green beans my most favorites. the food was lacking taste and was dry. the coffee was good.
Worst restaurant outing that I can remember. We went to eat for my father in law's birthday. The waitress got all of the orders confused, she was rude and went as far as to tell us that this job was too much pressure and that she would go back to sell apparel. As for the food, it was ok. The shrimp were way over cooked however. Not coming back, that's for sure. Book a table now
I liked this place, until my last visit. My wife found no less than 8 hairs in her rice. WTH?! Some of the wait staff can be a bit too familiar, touching my wife's arm and hand, taking the order from the table in the NEXT aisle from our table side! Customers can be annoying, putting their coats on the divider between service areas. Can be loud at times.
It was an overall pretty plain experience, the food was Ok, but the staff were pretty stiff, and not too friendly. Disapointed, had to wait a long time to get our food and bill. We could have almost left without paying, that it took so long for the waiter to show up.
We went there as a family to have dinner. Service is just average but it goes with the food. There is nothing special about this place. Do not expect anything amazing. Wouldn't recommend and wouldn't go back.
This is the kind of place that makes me think of my childhood when my parents would bring us to, thinking it was some fancy, fantastic place._But once I've Book a table now
My family and I are pretty much regulars of this placeOne of the only Casa Grecques I know of that has a salad bar included in their meals.
