A couple of times during our journey through the northeast of Spain we followed a sign up a small local road to a restaurant for some lunch. None excited us until we came upon Casa Javier. What a find! While the casa is an attractive stone building the actual entrance to the restaurant is only so so, but go inside and you will find a lovely small but intimate setting. Although our Spanish is minimal we were welcomed with the menu and a pleasant smile. We are so glad we decided to stay.
