This is a classic Spanish roadside restaurant. It's crowded and popular, though the dining room can be empty even when folks are lined up deep at the bar. We arrived early for lunch, by the time we were finished the place was packed. They have an extensive menu but as always in Spain the Menu del Dia is a good deal. When you arrive they bring out a large chunk of bread with Manchego cheese in olive oil. A nice way to get started. Portions are large. You get a drink with your menu, I ordered red wine so they brought me an entire bottle (You are not meant to drink it all but can if you wish. My wife ordered water and got a huge 1.5 liter bottle. in the line that separates the communities from castilla the stain and the hustle and bustle by the passage of the despatch is a curious and picturesque place of obligatory stop for many that by work or pleasure we pass by there. the place in question is a house of pepe, which offers us a wonderful and sober cuisine based almost entirely on the hunting dishes of the area such as wild boar, deer, lamb etc. all with a wonderful winery. but perhaps its main attraction is its peculiar decoration by which we will move to other past times of this country. and perhaps it is good to leave behind our old prejudices.
on the same N-IV road, at the gates of the natural landscape of desperation, this bar-cafeteria is famous for its ultra- Francoist decoration. Beyond political positions, making a stop at this bar is a pass. the place, full of photos, flags and Francoist memories, is very picturesque and fun. the owner, a fat lord who does not take a second from behind the bar, gives talks if you want, but, to calm down and enjoy such snacks and sausages, which are really excellent.

It's a lovely place, a place that had to be Spanish heritage, is where you read, you see, you feel, the Spanish sense. Wonderful experience . Went today with family and while is was beyond busy they managed to provide a warm and personalized service. Raul, who served us, was phenomenal . We had ensaladila russa, bocadillos de calamares y pollo y huevos y jamon con patatas. If you are ever around, stop by. Awesome place to visit.
Whenever I go through despairs, I stop at home pepe, it's a place of course original, it's all decorated with spider flags, bull heads, shields, etc., it eats well and although it's criticized by many people, I've stopped several times and there are always many curious, because I don't know any place like this.
we find this sale of ctra. during our Iberian route of 2014 gs located for sale chardenas (smatters) next to the old ctra. gral. Madrid-Andalucía also for its unique decoration, stands out for so good tapas and meals, souvenir shop and quality of service.
