a perfect location with view of the lake. the interieur is modern with many bretz furniture I like and own some of their furniture. eating was very good; the service started well, but something on the end of the meal, it. forgot a bit slow and not so attentive. The visit at the Casala was a Christmas present for my parents and it turned out to be even better than hoped for. The food is simply outstanding with a fantastic array of flavours, variations and surprises. We tried (parts of) the eight course set...menue and there is no doubt it is amongst the best we have had. The wine list is most imrpessive including a remarkable regional selection. The service is relaxed, informed and attentive and the staff really appear to know and love their profession. The restaurant itself is airy, well-designed and the views over the lake are stunning (it was, admittedly, already dark when we arrived). A restaurant for whom ever enjoys high class food. I've eaten there for the second time within 2 years and I can only say good things about the food, the pleasant refreshing staff and the setting. This is haute cuisine at its best and...I will surely return to introduce it to other food-loving friends of mine. I can only encourage the chef as well as the owner to keep up the good work!
This place is amazing. Artistry takes many forms. This one is a celebration of the art of culinary delights. Markus Philippi truly knows his art and is well worthy of the Michelin star.
