We eat in expensive restaurants but needed a meal far earlier than eight o 'clock when all the high class ones open. We will well remember the meal well after many costing 2 or three times more. Attentive staff helped We had two glasses each of Ramon Bibao red wine €2.20 per glass). Also two chicken salads and two 'Americano ' coffee at a total of €39.80. Do not expect high class food, but very good value for money and just what we needed on that night.
We went to eat a menu of the day. It had an acceptable variety. The first dishes are quite lazy. We chose a pasta with pesto, which was a bit past and a rice that wasn't bad for flavor, was the one that didn't pass. the second dishes were good (we chose carrilladas and entrecot) and desserts too. I generally recommend it although the price a little high (18€ per week,) if we take into account the first dish, although being the area I can understand it.
So most of the food in the plaza is uniformly generic and over-priced. This place is no exception. We got a variety of plates. The calamari was ok, better than other spots here. The steak was fatty and chewy. On top of the mediocre food, at the end, they suddenly announced that their credit card machine was broken. They insisted that they never guaranteed that they accepted credit. Would highly recommend going elsewhere.
The starter was good, I got a salad with king prawns and octopus. My girlfriend had spaghetti carbonara but it was just tagliatelle with cheese and bacon so nothing special. The main dish was a little bit better. We got the Entrecote. The quality was okay but it was cold... The dessert at the end was great. My girlfriend got a blueberry cheesecake and it was awesome! centrally located in the castle square with a good terrace. We have eaten wonderfully, a weekend menu of 23 euros and the quality price highly recommended. the attention has been 10 and the service very fast. The cow chop and the delicious intercot. no doubt to repeat again.
