Lovely spot for a cocktail or three. Magnificent whiskey selection, but also a great variety of beer, wine, and cocktails. The draft cocktails change seasonally, which is fun to see. Despite being a whiskey fan (and they do have the most exquisite collection) my habit has become to have a split of prosecco before shows.
We liked this place so much we came here twice during our visit to Madison. The first visit was better, world class bartender, perfect cocktails! Old Fashioned and Negroni. Next visit, a Monday night, had the B team, but still good.
Friday, 6:00pm: Full bar vs one bartender on State St; horrible. At least the poor girl bartending by herself on a Friday night kept a positive attitude. What an embarrassing way to run a business.
The selection of bourbon and whiskey is incredible. Tom, the bartender, was very knowledgeable. It was the first time I tried a brandy Old Fashioned, and it was delightful! Book a table now
Awesome place. Amazing selection of bourbon, whiskey, etc.. cocktails were delicious and the outdoor seating is perfect on a sunny day.
Great place to explore the world of Whiskey. Would guess that they have at least 1000 bottles of all different whiskey.
