The dining area is a bit compact, but there's plenty of seating available. It had a nice buzz of activity and was quite lively. We ordered the mammoth chicken, a button mushroom appetizer, a ribeye with mashed potatoes, and a prime rib with rice pilaf. Unfortunately, the chicken was a bit overcooked, resulting in a dry and tough texture, which was disappointing. On the other hand, the ribeye was cooked medium and had a good flavor. The prime rib, cooked medium rare, was excellent in both flavor and texture. In terms of taste, I would rank the dishes from least to most enjoyable, with the prime rib coming out on top. I highly recommend it to anyone visiting, especially considering the rea...

The Cask has really excelled with their outdoor dining spaces. We made a reservation in advance since seating is quite limited. I was pleasantly surprised by the ample staff presence, especially compared to other restaurants that seem to be running short on workers. We ordered drinks and a full meal, and the quality was just as high as we’ve come to expect. I’d advise against dining here during the hottest parts of the day, as it can get quite warm and the umbrellas don’t provide much relief. However, there are nice dining areas and the garden space is enjoyable at any time. Reservations are recommended for this area during peak hours. The menu remains unchanged, which is great news for thos...

I recently had one of the best meals I've enjoyed in quite some time. The baked potato was so delicious that I nearly ordered a second one! And the combination of raw and creamy horseradish for my Prime Rib was absolutely remarkable—so good it should be illegal. To be honest, I only finished half of my meal because I wanted to save the rest for breakfast the next morning. My wife ended up just having the baked potato! My sons are considering buying a condo nearby, and I’ve been encouraging them to go for it—it would be wonderful to be able to walk over to Cask n' Cleaver whenever the mood strikes. If you happen to visit, mention Dr. Craig Ponder and I might just score a complimentary meal! W...

As my daughter puts it, "It's a one and done." We visited this restaurant after my daughters' Christmas recital to celebrate their hard work. We ordered our steaks medium well, but they arrived nearly raw and oozing blood all over the potatoes. My steak was also undercooked, which left us feeling highly disappointed and disgusted. If a restaurant specializes in steaks, the chefs should know how to cook them properly, especially when they cost $40 each. My husband had the ribs and enjoyed them, but we won't be returning. Our server, Ellie, was sweet, but unfortunately, we came to enjoy a meal, and that didn't happen for three out of four of us. Book a table now

We celebrated a family birthday dinner, and the restaurant has adapted well to outdoor dining. Overall, the food was very good. However, my ribeye was the least impressive item—it was thin and just average. It didn't quite meet expectations. Still, the overall experience and value were worth it.

We have dined at this restaurant numerous times, and I have to say that Jake is the most attentive and friendly server we’ve ever encountered. We always request to sit in his section. The prime rib and salad bar are also outstanding.

The food is consistently excellent, and the service is fantastic. I really enjoy the salad bar. It did get a bit noisy during peak hours, but that’s to be expected.

The waitress was extremely helpful in ensuring we were seated in the shade. The music was delightful.
