Have been meaning to come here for a few years and can see why ita popular after a Friday night meal. Great choice of food at very competitive prices. Two fixed menu's were offered on our visit, we went with the one around €21 each as it had the best vegetarian choice. More expensive option, just over €30 per person is meat focused. Food was excellent with wait times not too long. Liked how wine was by glass plus also chance to buy a 50cl carafe. If you want to go then I'd definitely recommend booking ahead, we did by email. Place was heaving on Friday night with an excellent jazz band playing. Will definitely be returning.
This restaurent is our absolute favourite in Aude. A pretty building in a pretty place with a pretty outside area opposite a pretty church. However it isn't just the prettiness! The food [cooked by the amazing Sebastian] is presented by the delightful Roisin who magically manages to greet, serve and entertain around forty happy diners all by herself at quieter times of the year. The food is wonderful beautifully balanced with much use made of vegetables and seasonal produce. We have eaten there in Spring, Summer, Autumn and Winter and it never fails to delight. The welcome is always warm and the food always delicious!
This is a real favourite with us and we have returned every time we are in this part of France. The chef is excellent, producing top class dishes. The staff are wonderful, friendly, welcoming and make everyone feel at home. The position is superb, looking out over a shady tree covered square. Do not miss the chance to enjoy eating at this fabulous restaurant if you are anywhere near this lovely corner of France.
Quiet spot with outdoor tables. Good waitering staff. Although the menu was limited for vegetarians, the waitress and chef worked together to present a tasty plate of veggie treats and the celeriac with mushrooms was particularly delicious! Well done chef as we enjoyed your presentation of food and the experience was simply lovely. We will visit again.
