The restaurant is well hidden within the towers.No tables, you have to book long in advance: good sign! The interior is comfortable without chichi. You're a little like home and the boss is very friendly. the boss is visible at the bottom of the room when giving the dishes. We had dinner at this little restaurant tucked away in the less touristy part of Tours. The food was amazing and Patricia was very friendly and helpful in explaining the menu in English. We had the 3-course meal and every course was exceptional! We had salads for starters, fish and veal for the mains and chocolate cake and rhubarb compote. The fish was cooked perfectly and the veal just melted in your mouth. Of special mention was the chocolate cake - the centre consisted of melting chocolate! Don't miss this restaurant when you are in Tours! We highly recommended it.

I can't tell you how amazing our experience at Casse Cailloux was. Patricia and Hervé are just the sweetest people I have ever had the pleasure of meeting. The food is to die for and the wine list is really quite amazing. It was truly the best meal we had in France and what made it so special is connecting with Patricia and Hervé the owners. They made us feel welcome and almost a part of their family. Can't say enough great things. Do yourself a favor and make a reservation!
