Although this restaurant was recommended to us before the pandemic, I would not recommend it for an event. We held my granddaughter's baptism there and were placed in a cramped area (ignoring COVID protocols), with small tables and ongoing setup delays. Our party was booked for 12:30, but tables were not set until around 1pm. The food took a long time to come out, we were overcharged for items we didn't receive, and there wasn't enough food to go around at the tables. The best part of our meal was the penne a la vodka. We felt rushed out, with the manager, Patty, rudely moving our guests' belongings to set up for the next event. There was no accommodation made for a guest in a wheelchair or...
In terms of the food, it was disappointing. The hot food was lukewarm, the selection was limited, and overall, it was not worth the price or hassle. The management of this restaurant needs to improve their customer service and business practices. Both owners, Josie and Patricia, should consider taking courses in customer service. I would recommend avoiding this place at all costs.
Service and drinks were great, but unfortunately the food left much to be desired. Portions were skimpy--for example, their pizza was really an appetizer-sized flatbread. Ordered chicken and veggies for the main course and it was disgustingly salty and overcooked, with the skin somehow sealed into the meat. Given the price point, I had hoped for better taste and quality.
The food and service at this restaurant are amazing. As a true Italian, I appreciate the quality of the food. This is one of the best Italian restaurants in Vaughan! I highly recommend it.
