As a Buffalo native and self-proclaimed chicken wing enthusiast, I have high standards when it comes to these tasty treats. After 14 years in Vermont, I finally found a place that gets them right - third place last night. The wings tasted just like the ones back home! The owner mentioned that he got the recipe from somewhere, and it certainly shows. The staff was fantastic, service was quick and friendly, and you could tell that the owner is passionate about his business and making sure his customers are happy. I can't wait to go back and try more items on the menu. Thank you for the amazing food and service!
We actually got Olympic Burgers the first time we went. Onion rings cheddar cheese and A1 sauce come on it and we added sautéed mushrooms. Absolutely delicious! Heaping portion of steak fries come with burgers. Since we were at a weekend basketball tournament we went back the next day and split a bacon ranch pizza which was AMAZING as well. Thin New York style crust which I love was cooked to perfection with NO BUBBLES! The owner was great-staff super friendly too. I hope they do well as we will be back as often as possible to try the other things on the menu!
I come from an Italian family that owned a pizza restaurant in Vermont in the 1970s and 1980s. When I traveled to Italy in search of that authentic taste, I was thrilled to discover that the pizza at The third place comes closest to what I remember. I was incredibly impressed with the restaurant, the management, and the staff. The manager understands that when the staff enjoys their work, customers will have a great experience. I will definitely be returning to this place, even if it's a 1.5-hour drive!
Yesterday, we picked up my son from Castleton College. He told us how great this restaurant was. The food was delicious and the staff were welcoming and friendly. My 10-year-old and I had the pizza, which was really good (I am Italian, so I know good pizza). My college son and my friend had the Philly cheese steaks, which they both agreed were the best they had ever had. The fries were also huge and tasty. This place is definitely a top choice for us!

I have not had a steak and cheese that made my mouth water in years... walked into this place and had no idea what I wanted. Andrew suggested the Brotherly Love (steak and cheese) stating it was a sleeper and we would be totally surprised. Well we were... absolutely spectacular. Great job Andrew and thank you!!!! This place rocks, we will be back!!!
Tonight is the first night with a bar at the Third Place. I had the southwestern wrap (which was fantastic) and the tap list wasn't overwhelming and had solid selection (fiddlehead, switchback, drop-in... to name a few breweries). Servers were friendly and atrentive. Prices are reasobable. Not a complaint from me all night.
Hard to find a place in Vermont with great poutine. Third place solved that problem Poutine was pretty good. I want burgers to die. If you don't go to the third place you came by. Rename is 1st place. Great service super food and where all my money will go next semester
Andrew and the staff are amazing!! The food is wicked good, we are working our way through the menu! Who would think to make a blt with a slab of maple ham?! These guys would! Mouth watering and you never leave hungry.

Great pizza! Atmosphere was great also. Nice thin crust. Going to be a top go to place to eat. Loved the Vermonter. It is a must try.
