The 3 levels to get to Catania were decent and it wasn't too confusing. It looked very busy, but we had a reservation. The hostess has made a quick check for our table and we sat within 2 minutes. We wanted to sit near the railing and delivered! The view was amazing, there a little after sunset. It was a jubilee dinner, so the waiter brought us additional glasses on champagne. We started ordering some drinks: a Nora (Bürbon, mirtamaro, spiced blueberry vanilla syrup, Angostura bitters -served on large rocks) and a Classic Negroni. TREATMENT Rating: Food and service were very good! Our server was Alberto, and it's just the best! He gave great food and wine recommendations, and we enjoyed our meal thanks to him. The manager, Tara, who worked at the host desk, was excellent. We had the Focaccia, Tuna Crudo, crispy octopus, shrimp risotto and all branzino. We had the Nussella Semifreddo for Dessert. Our favorite dish was the crispy octopus. It was tender and delicious, with a touch of spices! Fantastic drinks. 9.2 out of 10 in my books. I would definitely recommend coming here if you try to find a place in La Jolla. Try the cauliflower. This must be one of the best crispy floral charcoal I've ever tried, and it's one of my go-to picks when a restaurant has it.
