After searching for "Weekday Brunch Vancouver," I stumbled upon this restaurant. I met my son there for brunch today. I ordered the Gastown Classic, which came with poached eggs and bacon. The bacon was perfectly cooked—crispy, not chewy like in some other places. The poached eggs were exactly how I like them, with no runniness. The potatoes were delightfully crispy, and the baked beans reminded me of the ones from my hometown in Quebec. The cappuccino was also very good. I live in the suburbs, but the drive is definitely worth it. I absolutely love that they serve brunch until 4 p.m. I will definitely be coming back. I ordered their classic breakfast, which featured fresh ingredients, perfectly poached eggs (and I’m very particular about this), and potatoes that were crisp on the outside and soft on the inside. They even included a delicious meat substitute, which I hadn’t asked for, along with seasonal greens, all beautifully presented. And I can’t forget to mention our constantly refilled cups of hot coffee and refreshing grapefruit mimosas. It was a perfect start to our day and one of the loveliest breakfasts I’ve had in quite some time. Just a tip: get there early to avoid long lines!
Went to Catch 122 Cafe Bistro, we noticed friends of ours went last week. We decided to try it out, went with my wife and her mom. We all had the breakfast special, it was very tasty. I was very impressed with the quality of the soft poached eggs, smoked bacon, and the potatoes were done to perfection, golden brown, a little on the crispy side, the baked beans were good as well. All three of our meals were worth driving in from Port Moody! I'd go back again for another outing at the Catch 122 Cafe Bistro
I enjoyed my meal and nobody interrupted me to ask how my meal was Thank you! That's what I want. I personally dislike the excessive service common in our restaurant culture. I want to eat and not be asked questions when I have food in my mouth. If I need service, I'll flag you down. Good muffins. Book a table now
Absolutely excellent very nice surprise visit! Lineup was out the door the whole time we were there food was all organic/from scratch service was impeccable my new go to breakfast spot in Vancouver!
Best brunch in the world!!! This is a special place with great staff!!! They made sure our kiddies had plenty of coloring pages to keep them busy. Thank you for a lovely brunch!!!
