If you are looking for a beautiful, unusual hotel right next to the Necropolis, is reasonably fit for stair climbing with suitcase, you are right here. After a good staircase cardio we reached our small, cozy roof room. Plus: Very comfortable bed, different pillows, large shower with really great products. Breakfast was Continental, but fresh, healthy and delicious. It's all you need to feel comfortable. The hosts are very friendly, striving and super organized. Minus: the shower is super nice, but has the disadvantage that the floor towels are patschnass after showering.
I have been living next to Cathedral House for many years. It used to be a great bar and hotel, but over time it suffered from a lack of investment. However, the current owners have done a fantastic job in revitalizing the place. It now looks fantastic, with a great selection of drinks at reasonable prices, delicious food, and a very welcoming atmosphere. I am excited to become a regular patron once again.
This restaurant turned out to be an inspired choice for this Year’s Office Christmas Lunch. Catering for over 30 colleagues, the service and quality of foods was outstanding! Too many places treat the Christmas customer poorly and serve up pre prepared, but not at this establishment! Every course was excellent and the staff super helpful we’ll definitely be back!
I had a delicious dinner at this hotel haggis clapshot while staying there. Along with a tasty breakfast, I also ordered a plate of fries, not knowing what clapshot was. The friendly waitress didn't even flinch! The atmosphere was wonderful, prices were very reasonable, and the staff were incredibly friendly.
