Catherine Rooney's Irish Pub & Restaurant

I moved to Delaware from Chicago, a city known for its great food, so i'm particularly critical of places I eat at and i'm not too sold on many of the places I've been to here.I found this place on accident on DoorDash looking for pub food one late night. The options sounded fantastic so I decided to go here with my sister the next day. This place is beautiful. I didn't go on the inside but right off the bat the atmosphere was amazing. We sat down to eat outside and I ordered everything I saw on their menu the night before that really caught my eye. Just relocated to Wilmington from Texas, and our first step was to find the local Liverpool pub. This one can’t be beat! Great food that’s restaurant quality, and I wouldn’t call ‘bar food.’ Bartenders are friendly and attentive, and they have a good whisky selection. This is quickly becoming our favorite local bar, and they bring in a fun crowd on game days.

Don't come here much but really enjoyed it had wings and a few beers bartender was on point.

We had a Repast lunch buffet. Service excellent. Food variety was great and delicious .
