Wasn’t overly impressed. Sweet potato fries and husbands skinny fries both seemed really greasy. Bread for a nibble at for four thin dry slices of bread seemed excessive. As was for small pieces of pork in an overly greasy tampura batter. Steak wasn’t the best I’ve had and came with half a mushroom!! Didn’t have dessert as didn’t want to spend any more!! Wouldn’t come back. Water jug was stainless steel and seemed dirty and water stained.
Was really impressed with the service. They were a bit late with some of the starters and before we had even registered the problem, they offered us two free bottles of prosecco. Food was top notch and came out speedily. Lovely, quiet restaurant, tucked away from all the hustle and bustle. Would definitely recommend.
In recent months, the quality of the food at this restaurant has been lacking, with me having to send back overcooked steaks. I am very disappointed and will be trying out the new steakhouse next time.
