*Meatball sauce in the Eggplant The last 2 times I’ve gone in have been horrible. Today for lunch the 3 of us ordered our food, the young deli clerk forgot about our food for 25 minutes, apologized handed 2 out of 3 of us our food while asking if the food less person wanted to place an order. We explained that the food was all ordered at the same time, she claimed she forgot, said she had a “Brain fart” *The main complaint is I don’t eat meat can’t tolerate any meat sauce, I asked for an eggplant w/ marinara sauce…. No meat!!! I was hunched over immediately w/ stomach pains and when I asked I was told they take the meatball sauce throw it on the eggplant! Lastly, I didn’t complain but pulle...
Sandwiches were okay. Not good, not bad, just okay. What’ll keep me from ever coming back are the prices. Over $12 and change for a sandwich on a grinder? Those are NY prices and this is nowhere near as good as a NY sandwich. They serve $8-$9 sandwiches at best. Workers were very friendly but no need to ever return. You’ll be better off hitting up one of the many bodegas in the neighborhood for a sandwich.
GREAT local place. Their food is delicious and homemade. Nothing like them around. Sandwiches are awesome, stuffed shells like no other. Desserts like the cannolis and tiramisu are unbelievable. ???? Sandwich The Godfather no meat. Eggplant is crazy delicious.
Daily pasta dinner is outstanding value. Sandwiches are good. Staff are nice and it’s a no frills mom and pop. Or mom and daughter I think. And not for nothing- the mom is smokin?
