We were accidentily in Thann and looking for a decent restaurant. Lucky us ! We made a good choice ! A warm welcome and a very efficient waiter. We went for the menu at 20 euros ( tartare de truite, truite sapin et glace) : very well prepared, nicely served ! Also the wine list is affordable and qualitative. We finished with an old XO cognac, again for a reasonable price. Nice atmosphere. One minus : the paintings on the wall are not that great. Go there and enjoy !

Enjoyed our dinner at Le Caveau.A few tables (including our) in the terrasse (well, overlooking the parking,….but quiet and fresh). Nice, quick service (only French spoken).We had a yummy “tarte flambé”, a trout and a huge ‘chacroute’. Everything was well prepared and nicely presented.In short, we enjoyed our dinner, and the final check was OK.
The food is traditional and has a great wine selection. You could get fish, game, local dishes, etc. The ambience is relaxing with the cave feel and dark wood. Just what you might be looking for when in Alsace. It's a restaurant for a special relaxing meal. Service is very good. Book a table now
One of the best restaurants in French cuisine, an incredible atmosphere, a warm welcome, dishes are delicious. If you want to taste good French dishes, you will find it hard to find better. Ideal for sharing with family or friends. Don't forget to make your reservation
I am an epicurean I recommend the cellar for this excellent reason and the dishes are at the height of a starred chef
