Loved it. First time coming here, what an honor to check out this long standing family business! The food was delicious, got the matzo ball soup and spicy pastrami sandwich. Got a few groceries to take home as well. Food was great, but the friendly service and hospitality from the owner will keep me coming back. Thanks Cecil's!*I also just realized since the groceries and restaurant hot food were rung up together it prompted me to tip on the entire total and not just the restaurant portion. ?‍?

A great place to get an excellent sandwich and probably the best reuben sandwich I’ve ever had. There are a couple of reuben options, and I went with the classic and everything was perfect…the corned beef thick and juicy, the sauerkraut delicious, and the rye bread tasty. The potato salad was good too, and I’d like to try some of the other sides. This is a place I will come back to in a heartbeat, not only for the sandwich, but for the takeout deli items. Add this place to your list.

I normally love this place and the service was good. I got an East Coaster. Corned beef, coleslaw, homemade 1,000 island on Caraway rye. I had them warm up the corned beef and it came out dry and not much meat, but the coleslaw, and bread were good. We loved the fries. My daughter liked the Reuben. We also got potato Kanishes and I really enjoyed that. But my mom wasn't that happy with them. She makes the best homemade ones so I get it.

When you walk in the first thing you see is a deli counter, meaning you are in a real deli. The prices are about right, and the service was terrific. The portions were a bit small, but the taste was right. While a bit out of the way, we would certainly go again.
