Cedar Grove Tavern is the hot spot place to go to when passing by on US 52 heading toward, or away from Brookville, IN! Their fried chicken is the BEST, with great sides and drinks and they even have a small bowling alley! The atmosphere and service is great and the prices are reasonable and even have an outdoor area to eat! And the restaurant features a lot more than just chicken! I would recommend this place to anyone wanting a tasty meal with a variety of beverage choices and wanting to get a few games of bowling in! The tavern was mediocre, and like many eateries in the area, it needs to provide more specials and promotions to draw in customers. I was let down by the limited menu options and felt quite frustrated. I think they should expand their variety of dishes and introduce special offers to enhance their business. Unfortunately, I won’t be returning. I gave it three stars only because it’s slightly better than other disappointing restaurants nearby. Cedar really needs to improve. Additionally, I have concerns about the alcohol prices, which could be contributing to issues with alcoholism in the area, as I noticed some customers who seemed intoxicated.
We love this little place! Great atmosphere, staff and customers alike are so nice and welcoming, the food is GREAT and comes out red hot and is reasonably priced, a full bar, Karaoke some nights, and a little bowling alley. Lots of fun whenever we go! And there's no smoking in there any longer which is just wonderful for us! We love this charming restaurant! The ambiance is wonderful, with friendly staff and a welcoming crowd. The food is tasty, served hot, and reasonably priced. They offer a full bar, karaoke on certain nights, and even a small bowling alley. Every time we go, we have a fantastic time! Additionally, we appreciate that smoking is no longer permitted inside, which is a major plus for us. There's also plenty of parking available in the lot. Book a table now
